Facilities

This large nursery consists of 4 main rooms where the children are based.

The rooms are divided according to the children's ages; Two units for under 2's. One Unit for 2-3 year olds and Pre-School for 3-5 year olds.

We have two large gardens and a woodlands area. The gardens are a very valuable resource in the children's learning space as well as a place to relax or let off steam. All the children really enjoy playing outside and we use this time to ensure the children make good progress in their physical development through careful activity planning.

Babies and young children benefit from having their own secure play area with all over soft surface.

Older children utilize the many opportunities in the outdoor and woodlands area. The opportunities provided affords them from balancing on wooden planks to making music using pots, pans and wooden spoons secured outside. They study bugs, plants, the weather, noises, smells, growing, sand, water, art and textures. Children also enjoy use of bikes, scooters and cars as well a large slide/climbing frame.

The nursery also boasts an extended area of woodland where the children have the opportunity to explore and investigate.
