Meals designed for developing independence
At Academy 4 Kids Day Nursery, we create engaging mealtimes where children build confidence by serving food, pouring drinks, and using cutlery. We organise snacks and meal routines to promote independence and social interaction among peers. Meals are included in fees, removing the need to bring food from home. Through shared dining experiences, we help children gain practical skills while developing positive habits. This approach supports emotional growth, communication, and a sense of responsibility during everyday routines.
What to expect from our meal service
We provide freshly prepared meals on site at Academy 4 Kids Day Nursery, created by an experienced chef. Our menus rotate weekly across a four-week cycle, offering variety and balance. We include daily fresh fruit and vegetables to support healthy development. For babies under one, we adapt menus to suit weaning stages. We carefully accommodate allergies, cultural needs, and dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan choices, ensuring every child receives suitable, nourishing meals without processed ingredients.

The benefits of healthy nursery meals
We promote a positive food environment where nutrition, safety, and inclusion remain central. Our structured meal plans help children understand healthy eating from an early age while enjoying social interaction. Parents feel reassured knowing that we provide and thoughtfully plan all meals. We also support wider development by delivering EYFS and events, integrating learning into daily experiences. This combined focus strengthens confidence, encourages participation, and ensures each child benefits from a consistent, supportive approach to growth and wellbeing.

While at times it seems that there is organised chaos we have always felt he is well cared for and supervised. I have never he
